Formulation

Each 100 mL contain:
Dexamethasone sodium phosphate ……………………………………. ……… 0.4 g *
Excipients c.s.p ………………………………………………………………… ..100 mL
* Equivalent to 3 mg / mL dexamethasone

Indications

Vetacortina® 400 is recommended in non-infectious inflammatory skeletal and muscle processes (arthritis, osteoarthritis, tendovaginitis, bursitis, dislocations, myositis and sprains, among others). Acute infectious diseases -with antibiotic therapy- (osteoarthritis, lymphangitis, arthritis, bronchopneumonia, septicemia, mastitis and urogenital tract infections, otitis, conjunctivitis, dermatitis among others). Allergic conditions: asthma, non-specific skin conditions (eczema, hives, pruritus), laminitis, snake bite, drug allergies. Autoimmune diseases (lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis and others); tumor processes and others. Metabolic disorders (ketosis, toxemia, etc.). Emergency treatments (shock and circulatory collapse: anaphylaxis, poisoning). Physical stress (febrile disorders, accidents, surgeries, weakness). Induction of labor (and induced fetal maturation) during the late gestation period. Adrenal endocrine conditions.

Dosage and Administration
Intramuscular (IM), intravenous (IV) or intraarticular. Canine: 0.1 - 0.5 mL, feline: 0.05 - 0.1 mL. Equine, bovine: 2 - 7 mL (intraarticular: 1 - 3 mL). Calf and foals: 0.5 a 1 mL. Porcine, ovine, caprine, south american camelids: 0.4 - 1 mL
